Privacy Policy — Unladen PDF Scanner

The short version

Unladen PDF Scanner collects nothing, transmits nothing, and has no accounts.

Data collection

The app does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There is no sign-up, no login, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app itself makes no network requests.

Your documents

Documents you scan are saved as PDF files in the app's private storage on your device only. They leave your device only when you explicitly share them (for example, by emailing a scan to yourself). Deleting a scan in the app permanently removes it from the device.

Camera and scanning

Document capture and edge detection are provided on-device by Google Play services (ML Kit Document Scanner). The app itself does not request camera permission and never receives the camera feed — only the finished PDF you approve. Google Play services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.
