Unladen PDF Privacy Policy

The short version

Unladen PDF collects nothing. It has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and it never sends anything anywhere.

Your documents

All PDF viewing and editing happens entirely on your device. Your documents are never uploaded, copied, or transmitted by the app. When you save a file, it is written only to the location you choose.

Data collection

Unladen PDF does not collect, store, transmit, or share:

• personal information of any kind
• usage data, analytics, or telemetry
• crash reports
• the contents, names, or locations of your files

The app makes no network connections at all.

Settings stored on your device

A small number of preferences are stored locally on your device so the app can remember them: your light/dark theme choice and, if you create one, your saved signature image. They never leave your machine, and uninstalling the app removes the app and its data.

Third parties

Unladen PDF contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. It is distributed through the Microsoft Store, which handles installation and updates under Microsoft's privacy statement.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version is released, with a new effective date.
